Born in Stokes Co., N.C., July 6, 1787, at his next birthday he would have been 85 years old. He was married when young and his wife lived until about two years ago. He leaves children and many relatives and friends. LIBERTY TRIBUNE; Liberty, Clay Co., MO May 10, 1872 FREDERICK MILLER: I was born in Stokes county, N.C., July 6th, 1787; moved to Clay county, in the springs of 1837; and have lived in Clay county 33 years. I was a volunteer in the war of 1812, and my father before me was a soldier under General Washington in the revolutionary war, and fought for our liberty.
