- Mr. Johnny McRoy Cinnamon, age 62, of Griffin, GA, passed away July 12, 2020.
He was born August 23, 1957, in Knoxville, TN, to the late Robert Lee Brewer and Ruby Courtney Brewer.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Hicks Cinnamon; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Jonathan and Melissa Cinnamon, all of Tallapoosa, Timothy and Lauren Cinnamon, of Newnan, GA, Christopher Cinnamon, of Rockmart, GA, and Josh Cinnamon, of Tallapoosa; two grandchildren, Courtney Cinnamon and Cora Cinnamon; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Jenny and Michael Comstock, of Gay, GA, Ann Harris, of Atlanta, GA, and Brenda and Bob Smith, of Douglasville, GA; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Forrester and Billy and Kelly Cinnamon, all of Griffin, GA.
In keeping with Johnny’s wishes, he will be cremated. No formal services are planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with their costs.
Miller Funeral Home (Tallapoosa, GA) is in charge of the arrangements.
