- Mrs. Ruby Brewer, 72, of Locust Grove, GA, died March 15, 2004, at her residence.
She was born on August 11, 1931, in Knoxville, TN, to the late George Courtney.
Formerly of College Park, Mrs. Brewer had been a resident of Locust Grove for the past 2 years. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Riverdale and enjoyed cleaning, animals and rose and flower gardening. Mrs. Brewer was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by husband, Robert Brewer, Locust Grove; children, Johnny and Teresa Cinnamon, Covington, Jennie and Mike Comstock, Newnan, Ann and Gary Harris, Locust Grove, Robert and Dorothy Forrester, Griffin, Billy and Kelly Cinnamon, Griffin, Brenda Smith, Stockbridge, James Robert Brewer, Morristown, TN, Danny Allen Brewer, Jefferson City, TN; 32 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grand; sister, Bonnie Sise, Tarlin Valley, TN.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brewer will be held Thursday, March 18, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with Pastor Virgil Cantrell officiating.
Interment will be at Lawnwood Memorial Park in Covington.
