  	Hazel Izora Capps, age 76, Pineville, KY passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born on August 26, 1938 in Middlesboro, KY the daughter of the late Jacob Matthew Capps and Mary Jane Graves Capps. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters: Okra Garland, Helen York, Jean Capps and Vesta Capps; and brothers: Ernest Capps, James Capps, Esco Capps, and Edward Capps. She believed in the Baptist Faith and was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. She is survived by her nephew whom she raised as a son: Benjamin (Sunny) Capps; special great nephew and great niece, Casey Joyce and Brandon (Meggan) Capps; special nieces: Opal Pierce and Betty Gregory and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be 7 p.m., Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Music will be provided by Lisa Dray and Tommy Graves and friends. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Monday, February 9, 2015 at Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel.
