  	James Thomas Crisp, 51, Injured in farm accident near Orange, Expires in local hospital. An unusual accident resulted in the death of James Thomas Crisp, 51, Rush County farmer , at Rush Memorial Hospital Thursday morning at 6:15 oclock Mr Crisp suffered multiple fractures of the skull when hit by a piece of machinery used in digging holes on the Ed Frazee farm west of Orange Wednesday shortly before noon. The digger was attached to a tractor and he had been cautioned by Mr Frazee to not stand too close to the equipment when the accident occured. He was rushed to the hospital in a Wyatt ambulance. A native of Wayne Co (KY) Mr Crisp had resided in Rush and Fayette Counties since 1925 where he worked in Connersville and engaged in farming. He was born May 27, 1900 the son of Thomas and Delilia Burton Crisp. he married Ethel Sowder on September 18, 1918, and she survives with nine children. The children are three daughters Mrs Helen Hammon, Imogene and Mary at home and six sons Staff Sgt Hubert L Crisp serving with the Army overseas, Charles, Russell, Stanley, James R and Joseph at home. Tenative funeral servicess have been set for Sat afternoon in the Wyatt Memorial Mortuary with the Rev Frank G Helme officiating. INterment will follow in East Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary beginning Friday Noon.
