  	Edna Lucille Johnson 1920 – 2017 Edna Lucille Hignite Johnson, 97, of Ashland, died peacefully, Thursday morning, October 5th, at Community Hospice Care Center. Lucille was born April 15, 1920 in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Frank ‘T.’ and Hattie Ray Hignite. She was a former secretary with Sparks Johnson Kennel in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was a member of the Westwood Church of God. She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents by brothers and sisters, Hazel Cooper, Hubert Hignite, Holbert Hignite, Gladys Tomlin, Garrett Hignite, James Hignite, Herb Hignite, Babe and Lotis Hignite, Edwina Maccabee, Clyde and Claude Hignite and Marlene Hignite Wheeler. A grandson, Dane L. Carver, and Son in Law Luther Wayne Carver. Surviving include; a daughter, Barbara Erwin Carver, Sister in Law Louise Hignite, sister Yvonne Hignite Dickerson, a niece and friend of 87 years, Delores Erwin Fultz Matheny. Many other nieces and nephews who she loved as her own as well as many friends and church friends.
