George was a WWII Army veteran, retired from Harrison radiator in 1982 after 35 years of service and was a member of the Dodds Pentecostal Church. He was preceded in death by a brother Charles and a sister Pauline. He is survived by his wife Zelma G.; a son & daughter-in-law George H. Jr. and Cherle of Waynesville; granddaughter Karen Abney and great granddaughter Katlyn; 8 brothers John, Rev. James, Roy, Harold, Ralph all of Waynesville, Robert of Harveysburg, Gerald Glen of Bellbrook, David of MI; 5 sisters Clara Head, Elizabeth Coffman, Dorothy Johnson, Tina Williams all of Waynesville & Teresa Lamb of Wilmington and many nieces & nephews. Funeral services are 11:00 AM Thursday 7/6/06 at the Dodds Pentecostal Church 3157 St Rt 122 E. Waynesville. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends at the Church after 6:00 Pm Wed. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home Waynesville is in charge of the arrangements.
