  	Oscar "Ozzie" Harold Ridings, 71, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at his home in Liberal. He was born July 2, 1946, to Eugene Ridings and Hazel Hunter in Washington. He married Rita Ann Irsik Sept. 16, 2006. She preceded him in death May 21, 2017. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served during the Vietnam War. He was involved in the National Day of Prayer for the last eight years. Survivors include stepson, Benjamin Stanton Hogan and wife, Melissa, Ocala, Fla.; and step-grandson, Ryker Stanton Hogan. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday with Pastor Kevin Alexander presiding at Liberal Cemetery with military rights provided by the American Legion. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to Vietnam Veterans of America in care of Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. Second Street, Liberal, KS 67901, in his name.
