She died Wednesday, November 12th, 2014, at her home with her family by her side. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Mortimer Funeral Home. Mrs. Ridings was born in Greenville on June 27th, 1940. She attended Greenville High School. She was self employed in her family's business, Riding's Auto Repair Shop and Towing, in Greenville. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lee R. Ridings; a daughter, Ellen (Mike) Yeager of Greenville; a son, David Ridings of Greenville; four sisters, Virginia (J.D.) Jacobs of Tupelo, Ann (Jimmy) Franklin of Vaiden, Barbara (Johnny) Donald of Greenville, Deborah (Eldon) Huenergardt of Buffalo, OK; a brother, Clarence Edward (Sadie) Banks of Bossier City, LA; a sister-in-law, Margie Banks of Gulf Shores, AL; four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence S. Banks and Elmer Ferguson Banks; a brother, Len "G.L." Banks.
