  	Edith B. Tompkins, 101, of Corbin, passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at the Heritage Nursing Home in Corbin. She was born Oct. 2, 1911, in Cumberland Gap, Va., to the late William Coffman and Birtie Skaggs Coffman. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Corbin since 1931. She is preceded in death by her husband R.B. Tompkins. She is survived by a son, Walter Tompkins (Edna) of Greenfield, Ind., two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at the McFarland Cemetery in Corbin with Rev. Earl Tye officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Christian Church of Corbin or your favorite organization.
