He was a attended of Beechland Baptist Church where he was in the praise band. He was also a member of the band, Reflections, and was a professional music DJ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Kenneth Ridings, Sr.; brothers, Johnny and Ricky Ridings; and sister, Carol Craig. Kenny is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Horn) Ridings; children, Matt Ridings (Carey), Ryan Ridings (Kriste) and Elizabeth "Liz" Melton (Chad); grandchildren, Cooper, Jackson, Ava, and Raylan; and sisters, Martha Fahey, Lois Woolridge (Darrell), and Becky Lang. Visitation will be Saturday 1-6pm at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with the memorial service to follow at 6pm. Published in The Courier-Journal on Oct. 19, 2018
