  	Hale, Joel Elba - Funeral services for Joel Elba Hale, 66, 1320 Oregon Street, will be held July 1 at 2 p.m. in Greenlawn Chapel with Dr. B. C. Barrett officiating. Mr. Hale, who was born in Kentucky, died June 29 in a local hospital. He was a blacksmith and had lived in Bakersfield two years. He is survived by his widow, Ida Elizabeth Hale; four sons, Dillard, Harold and Clifton of Bakersfield and Carl of Bishop; two daughters, Mattie Jane Norvill of Richmond and Jewell Elaine Johnson of Bakersfield; a sister, Mrs. Ollie Whittaker; a brother, Joseph Hale of Cowlington, Okla.; 20 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren., Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
