  	MERION D. "COLBY" WEBB, 70, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, July 26, 2008, at St. Joseph Hospital. Born June 6, 1938, in Forkridge, Tenn., he was the son of General and Martha (Shackleford) Webb. A U.S. Army veteran, he was employed by Shamban for 35 years. Surviving are his wife, Carol Webb; son, Ronald Webb; daughter, Michelle (Les) Fowler; brothers, Charles and General of Middlesboro, Ky., and Jay Webb of Fort Wayne; sisters, Ruth Robertson of Middlesboro, Ky., Betty McGeorge of Panama City, Fla. and Wanda Strunk of Ft. Meyers, Fla.; and grandchildren, Michaela Fowler, Nicole Webb, Natalie Webb, and Ronald Webb. Service is 2 p.m. Wednesday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Preferred memorials to The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo.
