Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Wilmer Evans. Interment was in the Hale Cemetery, Tuttle. Born August 6, 1912, in Laurel County, he was the son of Charles and Mary E. Weatherly Whitt. He was married to the former Roxie Bolton, a veteran of World War II and a member of the Felts Chapel Methodist Church. Surviving, in additional to his wife, are three daugthers, Lonnie June Marcus, Brooksville, IND; Joanne Hill, Wyoma, MI; and Flora Mae McFadden, London; three sons: Kenneth Whitt, Hamilton, Ohio; Earl Whitt, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Eugene White, Lily; a sister, Mrs. George Haddix, Louisville; a brother, Elmer Whitt, Corbin and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday by Rev. Wilmer Evans at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Hale Cemetery.
