  	MAXWELL HALE Retired. Maxwell C. Hale, 64, 236 Parker Road, London, died Wednesday April 7, 1993 at his residence. A native of Laurel County, he was born Dec. 22, 1928. The son of Victor and Allie Ledington Hale, he was a member of the Blackwater Baptist Church, a member of the American Legion and an Air Force veteran. Mr. Hale is survived by his wife, Sue Cathers Hale; three children, Jennifer Renee and Margaret Allie Hale, and Harold Douglas Hale, all of London; three sistersn, Ina Faye Hale, Lule Hale and Janice O'Neal, all of London. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edsel Hale. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today, Friday, April 9, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Mays officiating. Burial followed in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Blackwater.
