  	The Portsmouth Times Portsmouth, Ohio Tuesday, 16 December 1975 LESTER HOWELL South Shore, Ky. - Funeral services for Lester Howell, 76, of South Shore, are to be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at South Shore First Baptist Church. He died Monday in Hayswood Hospital in Maysville. He was a native of Lewis County and had retired from Norfolk & Western Railway after 36 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Odessa Dunaway Howell, in 1954. Surviving are six sons, Burnice, Paul, Don and Lester Howell Jr., all of South Shore, Lloyd of Clay City, Ind., and Kenneth of Pataskala, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Wanda Howland and Mrs. Wilda Wolfe of South Portsmouth, and Mrs. Sharon Bryant of South Shore; two brothers, William Howell of New Boston, Ohio, and Lawrence Howell of Sarasota, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Dedie Morlon of Columbus; 26 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Rev. Elmer Wiley is to officate at services. Interment is to be in McEldowney Cemetery at Stricklett, Ky. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
