Born June 28, 1921, in Laurel County, Kentucky, he was a retired mechanic and believer in the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nettie (Miller) Ridings and Robert H. Ridings. Survivors include three sisters, Gertrude Frye of London, Ky., Nola Wilkerson of Louisville, Ky., and Carrie Wilkerson of Cumberland, Ky. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 19, at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene Huff officiating. Burial will follow in the Warrens Grove Cemetery at London, Ky. Visitation will be after 6:30 p.m. Friday, August 18, at House-Rawlings Funeral Home.
