  	Mabel Hallie Ridings Billingsley Published: Friday, April 11, 2008 12:14 PM CDT HAROGATE, Tenn. — Mabel Hallie Ridings Billingsley, 87, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at Claiborne County Nursing Home. She was born June 13, 1920, in Goins, Tenn., to the late A.J. Ridings and Dora Hopper Ridings. She was saved at an early age and was a member of the Pump Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years John Billingsley; two sons, Ralph and Ronnie Billingsley; son-in-law, Ben Taylor; one grandchild, Tommy Billingsley and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include the following: two daughters, Gloria Taylor, Harrogate, Dixie Billingsley, Harrogate; daughter-in-law, Lurlean Billingsley, Harrogate; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and one on the way; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Casper “Tip” Moore presiding. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Kybert Cemetry in Arthur, Ten., with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family of Ms. Billingsley will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel. Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, is in charge of all arrangements.
