Collett was born on January 14, 1919, in London, Kentucky, the daughter of the late John and Maggie Bruner Ridings. She was united in marriage to Dee W. Collett, who proceeded her in death on April 22, 1972. She is survived by two daughters: Patricia Cagle of Detroit, Michigan, and Janice Leone of Birmingham, Michigan, one son: John Collett of Marysville, Michigan, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn passing. She is also proceeded in death by three sisters: Marie Onkst, Doris Weaver, and Betty Harrison. She was a homemaker and a member of the Temple Baptist Church--Bowling Funeral Home—
