  	SCHMIDT - KENNETH A. SCHMIDT SR., aged 69, of Grand Rapids, passed away Saturday, April 15, 1995. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Marine Corp as a Staff Sergeant. Surviving are his children, BARBARA G. SCHMIDT, CAROL A. (TERRY) MILLER all of Grand Rapids, MARY J. (DAVE) HAGSTROM of Swartz Creek, KEN (CORRIE) SCHMIDT, JOE (MARIA) SCHMIDT all of Grand Rapids; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one sister, MARIE BRANDT of Grand Rapids; one brother, GERRY AHRENS of FL; many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 10:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Church, Fr. Robert Sirico, CSP Celebrant. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, where a Vigil Service will be held Tuesday 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Visiting Nurse Hospice.
