  	David Michael Ramey, 62, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Trafalgar. He was born June 10, 1942, in Whiteland. His parents were William E. and Mary Elvina (Coovert) Ramey. He married Nancy E. (Bolton) Ramey on Dec. 16, 1995, in Shelbyville. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Dana M. Smith of Trafalgar; a stepdaughter; Shawn Baumgardner of Franklin; three stepsons, Eric G. Hopkins of Greenwood, Dwayne B. Hopkins of Cincinnati and Rex A. Hopkins of Greenfield; three sisters, Betty L. Newman of Franklin, Emily A. Wood of Whiteland and Sara Bills of Edinburgh; four brothers, John W. Ramey of Franklin, Jerry W. Ramey of Edinburgh and Joseph D. and Elmer L. Ramey, both of Nineveh; three granddaughters; eight stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Ellen Hedger; and two brothers, William A. "Bill" and Harold E. Ramey. He graduated from Nineveh High School in 1960. He was employed as a tile setter and owned and operated Ramey Marble & Tile Co. in Columbus. He attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Trafalgar. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. The Rev. Jeff Hopson will conduct a service at 2 p.m. Monday at Vandivier-Parsley Funeral Home, 197 E. Jefferson St. in Franklin. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Nineveh Cemetery.
